ibase_close — Close a connection to an InterBase database
说明
ibase_close(resource
$connection_id = null): boolCloses the link to an InterBase database that's associated with a connection id returned from ibase_connect(). Default transaction on link is committed, other transactions are rolled back.

connection_id -
An InterBase link identifier returned from ibase_connect(). If omitted, the last opened link is assumed.
返回值
成功时返回 true， 或者在失败时返回 false。

Before close the connection remember to free your query results too...
$dbh = ibase_connect($host, $username, $password);
$stmt = 'SELECT * FROM tblname';
$sth = ibase_query($dbh, $stmt);
while ($row = ibase_fetch_object($sth)) {
.............
}
ibase_free_result($sth); // <-------
ibase_close($dbh);
